Some time after the game, Change.bat has apparently gone dormant as MegaMan does not start with it in the early part of Battle Network 3. MegaMan gains his first Style Change in a dungeon while chasing down ShadowMan. After it was retrieved, Yuichiro Hikari installs it into MegaMan, granting him the Style Change ability, giving him Style Changes depending on how he fights while the element assigned is seemingly random. It was guarded by YumLand NetNavis that have to be defeated.
